We say a sad goodbye to our Head of Security - Misty.

We are all very sorry to have to bid a fond farewell to Misty, Julie’s beloved dog and our head of security.

Julie, our Director has penned this tribute to Misty, who was an integral part of The Hollies team for many years.

This lovely lady came into our lives halfway through her own! She made a massive impact not just on my heart, but also the whole office!

She was our Head of Security, first to hear if the door opened and a visitor was on the stairs, quick to greet them when they opened the door and would not settle down until she had been suitably recognised by every human who passed through our door.

Misty had an incredible life, adventures in Anglesey every year, sometimes south Wales, even a visit to the Highlands of Scotland with her mate Bonnie and the family.

She loved to be with Julie all the time, front seat passenger in the car, window open, wind in her beard!

When she had her hair cut, she always came back in looking like a different dog with her racing stripe down her back! But when her hair grew, wow she was a fluffball!

Misty loved everyone, and her doggy pals, birthday parties for pups were a regular with Bonnie and Maya, she even shared her own birthday with Cassie - Shirley (one of our bookkeeper’s) dog.

Misty was with us for just short of seven year. In the last few months she developed Kidney issues and then her heart murmur got too much for her. It was a sad day when we said goodbye.

The office is a very quiet place without her now, she did bring Lexi to us before she left, but Lexi is a totally different kind of Schnauzer!

Rest in peace Misty, you will be much missed by everyone who knew you.                                           .
